Framed Vintage Rhode Island State Flag

Private signal flags like this were flown by yacht owners so their boat could be spotted and identified from a distance, almost like a family crest for the water. Framed as it is, it reads more like a piece of folk art than a boating relic good over a desk or stairwell.
