Vintage English Oak Petite Biscuit Barrel

A small English oak biscuit barrel with a silver-plated rim, hinged swing handle, and a blank shield-shaped cartouche on the front (ready for engraving or left as is). Warm honey-toned oak with natural grain, a hairline character split, and gentle wear consistent with age. Compact size makes it easy to place almost anywhere.

Set it on a coffee bar to hold sugar packets, tea bags, or actual biscuits and cookies or display it solo on a stack of antique books, or group it with brass and silver pieces for a layered library or mantel vignette.
