Vintage Letter "B" Nautical Flag

The bold red swallowtail, known as a burgee cut, belongs to the letter B in the International Code of Signals. At sea, the Bravo flag carried one of the most urgent messages in the maritime lexicon: I am taking in, or discharging, or carrying dangerous goods.
